When the dash cam operates in parking mode, it draws power from the vehicle's battery via a parking surveillance cable until the battery voltage drops to the preset limit, at which point the cable shuts off. This means the duration of surveillance depends on the battery's condition. Aging batteries may only support a few hours of monitoring, and prolonged use can significantly reduce battery lifespan.

To prevent vibrations, place the battery pack with its wide surface down on the vehicle floor, securing it with adhesive Velcro. Use cable ties to fasten the wires and prevent loose connections.
